Statement of Faith

  • 979-800God revealed himself to mankind. Taking the initiative, He revealed something about himself in creation (originally perfect), in the Bible (the Old and New Testaments), and in human flesh by sending his Son to be born as a baby named Jesus.
  • We gratefully receive the Bible as divinely inspired, the only infallible, and authoritative Word of God. He who created instinctive communication between animals; the capacity in human beings for intelligent, expressive language; the mother’s intuitive ability, superior to all others’, to communicate with and read her child before he can speak; and multiple languages that drove the population apart into ethnicities is Himself the master linguist. He successfully achieved the revelation of Himself in the written Scriptures. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that Jesus of Nazareth is fully God and fully man, was born to Mary while she was still a virgin, lived a sinless life and completely obeyed his Father, performed signs demonstrating His power over Satan and the demons (who had been angels in perfection, but they rebelled against their Maker and were cast out of Heaven), and performed miracles demonstrating His power over nature (which he created perfect, but placed a curse when Adam sinned against his Maker; Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden). The offended God, nevertheless, in grace, provided Jesus as the Lamb of God who died in place of sinners who trust in Him as the Messiah, the Christ, and the Savior who atoned for their sin with His own blood shed on the cross; Jesus rose bodily from the tomb in which His corpse had been buried, demonstrating His power and triumph over sin and death. Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father in Heaven, and will personally return to Earth in power and glory. He alone reconciles a repentant, believing offender with the offended God.
  • We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful individuals, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that salvation is received through personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of one’s own good works.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to bear fruit, live a godly life, and perform the works we undertake to do by establishing the corporation.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost – the saved to eternal life, the lost to eternal damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
